The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent nos. 1 and 2 to provide them protection. 2.

Petitioner nos. 1 and 2 have married each other against the wishes of the family members of petitioner no.1. They have filed the present petition apprehending harm at the hands of respondent nos. 3 and 4, who are the parents of petitioner no.1.

The learned counsel appearing for respondent nos. 3 and 4 states that they have since disowned their daughter (petitioner no.1) and there is no occasion for them to now interfere in their lives. 4.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of by directing

the concerned SHO, PS Badarpur to provide the contact number of Beat Constable to the petitioners in order to enable them to contact him in case of an emergency.

No further orders are required to be passed in this petition. The same is disposed of.
