This application has been preferred on behalf of the Petitioners to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Respondents to finalise the Recruitment Regulations for the post of Assistant Secretary-I in a time bound manner in light of the averments in the counter-affidavit and in the meantime, consider the Petitioners for promotion to the said post on ad-hoc basis under Delhi Agricultural Marketing Board Secretarial Service Regulations, 1987.

Regulations for the post of Assistant Secretary-I is concerned, Ms. Ahlawat fairly does not have any objection. However, objection is raised to the second relief for consideration of the Petitioners for promotion to the post of Assistant Secretary-I on ad-hoc basis.

Mr. Shanker Raju, learned counsel for the Petitioners, on instructions, submits that without prejudice to the second relief in the application, this writ petition be disposed of with a direction to the Respondents to notify the proposed Regulations for promotion to the post of Assistant Secretary-I expeditiously.

For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed to the extent of the first relief claimed and disposed of. W.P.(C) 5964/2024 and CM APPL. 24765/2024 7.
Writ petition is disposed of in light of the averments in the counteraffidavit that proposed Regulations for promotion to the post of Assistant Secretary-I have been framed but they are yet to be notified, with a direction that the process of approval/notification, etc. of the proposed Regulations shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and not later than 2 months from the date of receipt of this order. Petitioners will be at liberty to take recourse to legal remedies in case of any surviving/further grievance. 8.
Pending application stands disposed of.
