The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to stop unauthorised construction being carried out at the property bearing Khasra No. 52/20, 11/2, D-2, situated at Bhawani Kunj, near ILBS Hospital, adjacent to Jain Farm, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi-110070 (hereinafter 'subject property').

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/MCD submits that the subject property has been booked on 15th May, 2026, for the entire construction carried out at basement, stilt, ground floor, first floor, second floor, third floor and fourth floor.

A show cause notice has been issued by the respondent/MCD on 5th May, 2026 and a work stop notice dated 19th May, 2026 has been issued by the concerned SHO. A letter has also been issued on the same date to the Delhi Jal Board and BSES for the disconnection of water and electricity supply, respectively.

In view thereof, the present writ petition stands disposed of, while directing the respondent/MCD to take appropriate action in accordance with law.

In the event, the petitioner has any further grievance, the petitioner would be at liberty to take appropriate remedy in accordance with law. 6.
All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the owner/occupier/private respondents no.4 and 5 are kept open.
