The matter is listed today for the husband to report compliance in terms of the earlier orders passed by this court calling upon him to clear the MAT.APP.(F.C.).87/2020 & CONT.CAS(C).466/2020 Page 1 of 2

arrears of maintenance payable to the wife.

Learned counsel for the husband states that his client has not only cleared the entire arrears of maintenance, he has also paid the maintenance amount due for the month of August, 2020, which position is confirmed by Mr. Diwan, learned counsel for the wife.

That being the position, C.M.No.11897/2020 filed by the husband in MAT.APP.(F.C.) 87/2020 and CONT.(CAS(C).466/2020 filed by the wife are disposed of.

Henceforth, the husband shall ensure that the monthly maintenance is paid to the wife, as fixed by the learned Family Court, on or before the 7th day of each calendar month, failing which, the same will carry simple interest @ 6% per annum.

Learned counsel for the respondent/husband states that the present application has been rendered infructuous in the light of the order passed on 11.08.2020.
