The present petition alleges unauthorized construction on agricultural land comprising Khasra No.0/390, 0/392, in Revenue Estate of Village Ghitorni, at Mehrauli Gurugram Road (MG Road) opposite Metro Pillar No.114-115, New Delhi-110030.

that the property in question has been identified as opposite to Choudhary Dhaba, 100 feet Road, MG Road, New Delhi. Learned counsel for the MCD submits that the property has already been booked, sealing action has been initiated and demolition orders have already been passed qua the unauthorized construction, referred to in the petition. He submits that the demolition action was scheduled on 24.04.2024; however, the same could not be taken on that day because of paucity of time/staff. He submits that the demolition action is now scheduled on 08.05.2024. He submits that appropriate action in accordance with law shall be taken to remove the unauthorized construction, referred to in the petition. He further submits that if any unauthorized construction is found to be ongoing, steps shall be taken to put the same to an immediate halt.

Taking the aforesaid statement on record, and binding the MCD thereto the present petition is disposed of.

Let a compliance affidavit be filed by the MCD within a period of eight weeks from today.
