The present petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, 1950 seeks the following prayers: - "a) Issue an appropriate direction directing the learned Family Court, North Delhi, Delhi to expeditiously dispose of HMA No. 303/2021 titled "Dr. Deepak Tomar vs. Dr. Poonam Lohchab" within a fixed time frame as deemed fit by this Hon'ble Court; b) Direct the learned Family Court to avoid unnecessary adjournments and proceed with the matter on day-to-day basis, if possible;

c) Pass any other or further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice." 4.
