Issue notice.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondents accepts notice.

The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "a) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other similar writ to restrain encroachers from carrying out illegal construction and direct the Gram Sabha to eject the encroachers from Khasra no.1049, of village Malikpur Kohi @ Rangpuri, Delhi."

It is the petitioner's case that the land owned by his father was vested with the Gram Sabha. He has since commenced proceedings for reversion

of the said land. However, in the meanwhile, the land in question (located in Khasra No.1049, of village Malikpur Kohi @ Rangpuri, Delhi) has been encroached upon and illegal construction has been raised. 4.

In view of the above, the respondents are directed to inspect the land and ensure that illegal construction, if any, raised on the land is removed. The respondents shall ensure that encroachment, if any, on the said land is also removed. The concerned police authorities shall render all assistance to the respondents in this regard.

The petition is disposed of. The pending applications are also disposed of.
