The present petition has been filed for the following relief: "i. The impugned order/decision number CIC/SM/A/2011/002865/VS/-1843 dated 17.1.2013 in appeal number CIC/SM/A/2011/002865/VS of the respondent number 1may be set aside and;
ii. The Hon'ble Court may be pleased to pass any other or further order as the Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in facts and circumstances of the case to do complete justice."

It is the case of the petitioner bank that vide impugned order dated 17.01.2013, passed by the Central Information Commission, it has been directed to disclose information of a personal nature, the disclosure of which would result in an unwarranted invasion of the privacy of customers availing the services of the bank.

information sought by the applicant pertained to third parties, and its disclosure would infringe upon the privacy of the customers of the petitioner bank. It is for this reason that this Court, vide order dated 19.02.2013, had stayed the operation of the impugned order.

The interim order is, therefore, made absolute. It appears that even the private respondent has lost interest in defending his case as no one appears for him.

Accordingly, the petition is also disposed of. However, legal questions involved herein are left open.

If the private respondent has any other grievance or if he desires any other information, he shall be at liberty to file a fresh application with the respondent.
