The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondent to release the petitioner on emergency parole for a period of eight weeks.

It is the petitioner's grievance in this petition that his application for grant of parole has not been considered.

Mr Gosain, learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioner's application for parole has since been considered and he has been granted parole subject to certain conditions. 4.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the said order has not been communicated to the petitioner as yet. 5.

releasing the petitioner on parole does not survive. The respondent is directed to forthwith communicate the order allowing the petitioner's application for parole.
