Mr. Achal Gupta, counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner in EL.PET. 12/2020, states that he wishes to withdraw the said Election Petition. 2.

Accordingly, petition is dismissed as withdrawn primarily in light of the fact that term of the Legislative Assembly constituted post the election, which were impugned, are now over, and a fresh election has already been held, and a new Assembly has been constituted. 3.

Pending application are rendered infructuous. EL.PET. 6/2020 1.

Despite issuance of notice by the Court to Mr. Dal Chand/the petitioner, no one appears on behalf of the petitioner. Considering the reasons cited above, the Court is of the view that this petition does not survive and is, accordingly, dismissed as being infructuous. All pending applications are also rendered infructuous.
