Through the present writ petition, the Petitioners pray for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus thereby directing the Respondents to grant the benefit of first and second financial upgradation under Assured Career Progression Scheme in accordance with Office Memorandum dated 09.08.1999 and third financial upgradation under Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme in terms of the office memorandum dated 19.05.2009. 2.

It is the case of the Petitioners that they have submitted a representation to the Respondents on 31.03.2026 and the same has still not been decided.

Pertinently, the Petitioners appear to have been enrolled in services way back in the years between 1980 to 1984. The Petitioners thereafter retired on various dates which has been detailed in paragraph 2 of the writ petition.

Without going into the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of by directing Respondent No. 2 to decide the representation of the Petitioners within a period of one month. 5.

Needless to observe, this Court has not examined the case on its merits and the Respondents shall be at liberty to pass appropriate order(s) in accordance with law.

With these observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of along with the pending application.
