The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, read with Section 528 of the BNSS seeks the following prayers: - "a. Pass an order granting parole to the petitioner for a period of 15 days to perform the last rituals/rites of his deceased brother and to support the grieving family during this tragedy. b. Direct the jail superintendent to release the petitioner on such terms as deemed fit.

c. Pass any other order as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the interest of justice."
