The present Petition under Article 226 Constitution of India read with Section 528 BNSS has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners seeking to quash the FIR No. 0302/2022 registered under Sections 420/468/471/120B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Mayur Vihar, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Brief facts of the case are that on 18.02.2020, the Complainant Joginder Pal Singh had entered into an Agreement to Sell with the Petitioner No.1 and 2. However, the disputes inter-se arose between the parties and two cross FIRs namely FIR No.513/2021 under Section 420/406 IPC P.S. Mayur Vihar was registered against the Complainant, while FIR No.0302/2022 under Sections 420/468/471/120B IPC was registered against the Petitioners herein on the Complaint of Respondent No.2/Complainant. 5.

Essentially, the allegation in the Complaint made by the Petitioners was that the Complainant had claimed that an alleged forged Receipt has been prepared by the Petitioners.

It is submitted that the matter was referred to Mediation, where the parties have arrived at a Settlement dated 25.02.2025, whereby the Respondent No.2/Complainant has already received the entire sale consideration of the suit property and the Sale Deed has been executed. The parties have agreed to get the two FIRs quashed and the civil litigations pending inter-se the parties have already been withdrawn. 7.

It is submitted that the Petitioners and Respondent No. 2 have left no grudge or grievance against each other in any manner whatsoever. It is further submitted that the Settlement has been arrived at between the parties voluntarily and without any force, pressure or coercion. Therefore, the Petition be quashed.

The parties are present before this Court in-person today, and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer concerned. In view of the submissions made, the Petition is allowed. Accordingly, the FIR bearing No. 0302/2022 registered at Police Mayur Vihar, Phase-I, for offences punishable under Sections 420/468/471/120B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 with all the subsequent proceedings and the Chargesheet is hereby quashed qua the Petitioners. 10.

The Petition stands disposed of.
