The present writ petition has been filed impugning the Notifications/ Circulars dated 3rd February, 2015, 30th April, 2015, 29th March, 2022 and 7th May, 2026 passed by the respondent-GNCTD. 3.
The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent-GNCTD has arbitrarily imposed the requirement that sale of an E-Rickshaw can only be made in favour of a person holding a valid Driving License issued by the respondent-GNCTD. It is submitted that the aforesaid requirement is de hors the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989.

Liberty is given to the petitioner to approach this Court in the event, the petitioner has any grievance with the order passed by the respondentGNCTD on the aforesaid representation of the petitioner.
