By way of the present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of the FIR bearing No. 0655/2025, registered at Police Station Krishna Nagar, Delhi, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 110/115(2)/126(2)/351(2)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (hereafter 'BNS') and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of settlement arrived at between the parties. 2.

Issue notice. The learned APP accepts notice on behalf of the State. 3.

All the petitioners and respondent no. 2 and respondent no. 2 are present before this Court and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer (IO) concerned, Police Station, Krishna Nagar, Delhi. 4.

to be working as a doctor at Shri Ram Hospital and Heart Institute, alleged that on 14.12.2025 at about 7:30 PM, while he was leaving the hospital in his car and attempting to enter the main road from the service lane, his vehicle got stuck due to heavy traffic congestion. It is alleged that during this time, the petitioners approached him, abused him and demanded that he move his vehicle. Upon the complainant expressing his inability to do so because of the traffic jam, the said person allegedly threatened and abused him. It is further alleged that after some time, the complainant stepped out of his vehicle to confront the petitioners, whereupon the latter allegedly threatened to kill him and called other persons to the spot.

Thereafter, the petitioners allegedly assaulted the complainant, wherein the complaiant had sustained minor injuries. Thereafter, upon the complaint by respondent no. 2, the present FIR came to be registered against the petitioners. It is stated that with intervention of the respected members of the society, the parties have now amicably settled their dispute vide Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dated 11.05.2026 and the parties are presently living together.

On a query made by this Court, respondent no. 2 who has been identified by the IO, has categorically stated that he has entered into compromise out of his own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. Therefore, she has no objection if the present FIR is quashed. 6.

In view of the above, that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will, and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. It would thus be in interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 7.

Accordingly, FIR bearing No. 0655/2025, registered at Police Station Krishna Nagar, Delhi, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 110/115(2)/126(2)/351(2)/3(5) of BNS and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of. 9.
