This Public Interest Litigation has been preferred with the following prayers:- "a.

Directing the Respondents to make arrangements to prevent water logging in the national capital territory of W.P.(C) 5841/2020 Page 1 of 2 KUMAR Location:

Delhi during the rainy season/ rainy days.

b.

Directing the respondents to ensure a proper arrangements of drainage to carry out proper cleaning and maintenance of drainage and sewerage system etc. system of Delhi in a time bound manner.

c.

Directing adequate compensation to the victims and the family of the deceased whose family members lost their lives due to the waterlogging in rainy season/ rainy days, and, further the person whose houses are / have been damaged they should also be adequately compensated. d.

Pass such further or other orders, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice." 2.

Having heard learned counsel for both the sides and looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, it appears that this petitioner is in search of permanent solution of water logging in the city of Delhi. 3.

It would suffice for the disposal of this writ petition if the respondents treat this writ petition as a representation and decide the same in accordance with law, rules, regulations and Government policies applicable to the facts of the case.
