By way of this writ petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of direction to respondent no. 1/State to provide adequate protection to the petitioner, from respondent no.2 to 4 in the interest of justice. 2.

Issue notice. The learned ASC accepts notice on behalf of the State. 3.

This Court has heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Standing Counsel for State/respondent. 4.

In the present case, the petitioner is the owner and resident of property bearing No. 16/191-I, Gali No. 3, Bapa Nagar, Karol Bagh, Delhi, purchased by her on 15.05.2005. It is stated that on 20.09.2015, the petitioner had disowned her sons namely Chandan and Dinesh along with their families through a public notice published in the newspaper "Virat Vaibhav". Thereafter, on 06.10.2023, her son Chandan has forcibly occupied the second floor and one room on the first floor of the said property, regarding The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. which a complaint was lodged at P.S. Prasad Nagar vide DD/E. No. 00081620402301100. It is also stated that on 20.04.2026, the petitioner's son Ravi had forcibly entered the ground floor portion where the petitioner resides with her widowed daughter, removed her belongings and occupied the said portion. Thereafter, complaints dated 21.04.2026 and 28.04.2026 were lodged at P.S. Prasad Nagar and with the DCP, Central District, vide Diary No. 5046 dated 28.04.2026.

This Court notes that the petitioner has inter alia has prayed for protection for herself. The right to life and liberty is a cherished Fundamental Right guaranteed by the Constitution of India and the instant case merits a careful indulgence of this Court in ensuring the same. 6.

Keeping in view the facts of the present matter and submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to provide her contact number to the concerned SHO and Beat Constable, and the concerned officers are also directed to provide the contact numbers of Beat Constable and SHO concerned to the petitioner, and provide necessary assistance as per law in case the need so arises. 7.

In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that he is satisfied with the above arrangement.

It is clarified that this order will not be considered as any reflection on the merit of any dispute, pending between the parties. 9.

Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of. 10.
