The present writ petition has been filed with regard to the illegal and unauthorized construction raised by respondent nos. 6 & 7 in the property bearing House No. 8/11 and 8/12, Pant Nagar, Jangpura, New Delhi110014. 2.

Pursuant to the directions of this Court passed in the order dated 13th May, 2025, this Court is informed that a joint meeting of Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD") and Commissioner of Police took place on two occasions, i.e., 05th June, 2025 and 08th July, 2025. 3.

It is submitted that it has now been devised that when a property is booked at an initial stage, full action shall be taken for demolition of the unauthorized construction so that further unauthorized construction does not take place after booking of unauthorized construction in a property. 4.

This Court notes that an application being CM APPL. 27442/2025 has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for withdrawal of the petition on the ground that the petitioner is satisfied with the action taken by the MCD. 5.

This Court further takes note of the Status Report dated 10th May, 2025 filed on behalf of the MCD, wherein, action taken by the MCD on various dates against the unauthorized construction existing in the property in question, has been detailed.

Considering the submissions made before this Court, it is directed that the MCD shall ensure that no further unauthorized construction takes place in the property in question.

Learned counsel for the respondent nos. 6 and 7, i.e., owner/occupier of the property in question submits that the said respondents have already approached the Appellate Tribunal: MCD ("ATMCD") for redressal of their grievances.

Accordingly, this Court is of the opinion no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition. 10.
