The petitioner claims to be the owner in possession of a property bearing No. D-56, Paryavaran Complex, New Delhi-110030. She is aggrieved by a demolition notice dated 27.03.2025 (Annexure P-1 to the writ petition).

Other residents of the same complex approached this Court against the very same demolition notice, by way of W.P.(C) 4687/2025 [Meenakshi Kapoor v. Having regard to the aforesaid submissions, the petitions are disposed of, with the following directions:

(a) The demarcation report of the land in question be supplied to the petitioners, through their counsel, within one week from today. (b) The petitioners may file applications under the Indian Forest Act, 1927, before the Additional District Magistrate/Forest Settlement Officer within a period of three weeks thereafter. (c) The Forest Settlement Officer will dispose of the petitioners' applications in accordance with law, by way of a speaking order. (d) Until the applications are disposed of, the respondents are directed not to take any further action in terms of the impugned demolition notice.

It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated upon the rights and contentions of the parties on merits, which remain reserved."

Learned counsel for the parties agree that the petitioner is similarly placed, and this case is covered by the aforesaid order. 6.

The present petition is disposed of in terms of the directions in paragraph 7 of the order dated 15.04.2025.

Mr. Tarun Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the respondents must also be bound by the decision of the Supreme Court in In Re: Directions in the matter of demolition of structures [WP (C) 295/2022 and connected matters, decided on 13.11.2024]. As the direction has already been given for disposal of her representation in accordance with law, naturally all applicable judgments of the Supreme Court will also have to be followed.

The writ petition, alongwith the pending application, is disposed of in the above terms.
