The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction upon the respondent - revenue authorities of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi ["GNCTD"] to effect mutation in the revenue records pertaining to his land bearing residential House No. 205, Khasra no. 511 min and agricultural lands bearing Khasra Nos. 512 (4-16), 873 (4-16), 874 (4-16), 875 (4- 16), 876 (4-16), 877 (4-9), 878 (4-16), 879 (416), 880 (4-16), 881 (4-01), and 897 ( 4-16) total land measuring 59 bighas, 09 biswas and 10 Biswansi, situated in village Jhangola, Delhi110036. 2.
It is stated that the petitioner has made an application to the Tehsildar on 04.04.2022 to this effect with all requisite documents, but no action has been taken.

Development Authority ["DDA"] as the village in question has been urbanised by notification dated 20.11.2019 issued under Section 507A of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957 .

On the oral request request of learned counsel for the petitioner, DDA is impleaded as respondent No. 6 in the writ petition. 5.
Mr. Sanjay Vashishta, learned counsel for DDA, is present in Court, and is requested to accept notice in this petition. 6.
Amended memo of parties be filed by the petitioner in the course of the day.

Having regard to the submissions of learned counsel for GNCTD above and the fact that the petitioner's application for mutation has, according to him, remained unanswered for the last three years, I am of the view that the appropriate course is that the revenue authorities and DDA may coordinate with each other and take an appropriate decision on the petitioner's application for mutation within a given time frame. 8.
The appropriate authorities are directed to pass necessary orders within a period of eight weeks from today.

In the event the petitioner's request is not considered favourably, a reasoned order will be issued to him within the same period. 10.
The writ petition, alongwith the pending application, is disposed of with these directions.
