The limited relief sought by the Petitioner in the present Petition is to direct the Respondents to decide his Statutory Petition filed under Section 119 of the Coast Guard Act, 1978, which is stated to be pending for nearly 10 months.

A perusal of the record reflects that after the Coast Guard Court held the Petitioner guilty, he was dismissed from service on 10.03.2025.

Learned counsel representing the Respondent submits that the Statutory Petition, along with the supplementary representation filed by the Petitioner, will be decided by the Respondents within a period of six weeks from today.
