% 26.05.2025 CRL.M.A. 16439/2025 (for extension of parole for a period of four weeks) 1.

By way of the present application, the petitioner seeks extension of parole granted to him vide order dated 30.04.2025 by this Court. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks extension of parole on the ground that the brother of the petitioner still needs his assistance and he needs to cultivate his land.

In the circumstances as mentioned above, what weighs in this Court's mind while considering this application is that the petitioner has remained in judicial custody for about 33 years, including the period of remission. The petitioner has also been released on parole on 35 occasions and he has never misused the liberty so granted to him. is considered relevant for the reason that since they are dependent on their agricultural produce and his brother is unable to cultivate the land, and it will be of importance to him to do so in absence of his brother, who has recently undergone a backbone surgery in March, 2025. 4.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to extend the parole granted to the petitioner by a period of two (02) weeks, on the same terms and conditions as imposed vide order dated 30.04.2025.

Accordingly, the present application stands disposed of. 6.
