W.P.(CRL) 1359/2020 4.

This writ petition is filed with the following prayer:- "Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent to release the petitioner on parole for a period of ninety (90) days in FIR No.222/2008, P.S.Uttam Nagar, under Section 302 IPC." 5.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits the petitioner has filed this writ for release on parole without filing an application before the competent authority.

Let the petitioner first avail the remedy under the law available to him by moving an application before the competent authority. In case any application is preferred by the petitioner, the competent authority shall decide such application within three weeks from the date of its receipt and its decision be also communicated to the petitioner.
