% 18.02.2020 This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking issue of a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, order or direction to the Respondents for rectification of name of the lawful owner Mrs. Swarn Kapoor, the petitioner, for property bearing no. 18/241, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi-110017 in records of Respondents Authorities. It appears that essentially the petitioner is seeking to execute the decree dated 25.10.2018 passed in favour of the petitioner in CS(OS) No. 227/2017. As per the said decree, petitioner was declared lawful owner of the property No. 18/241, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi. Learned counsel appearing for SDMC/R-1 has today handed over a communication dated 30.01.2020 whereby the mutation of the property has been recorded in favour of the petitioner.

However, learned counsel for the petitioner insists that respondent No.2/L&DO be also directed to amend its record accordingly. A perusal of the decree dated 25.10.2018 passed in favour of the petitioner shows that the property was converted to freehold by Conveyance Deed dated 05.11.1999 in favour of the petitioner. Nothing further survives in this matter. Petition stands disposed of. The respondent No.2/L&DO will correct its record in terms of the decree dated 25.10.2018.
