The present petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, 1950, seeks the following prayers: - "A. Direct the Ld. Family Court to dispose of the application under Order VII Rule 11 CPC (IA No. 02 of 2026) filed by Respondent in HMA No. 276 of 2025 and to adjudicate the issue The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. of the maintainability of the petition on the next date of hearing i.e., 29.05.2026; And/or B.
Direct the Ld. Family Court to dispose of the pending applications with respect to the maintenance, residence and protection order filed under Section 26 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, preferably on the next date of hearing or at any earliest date; And/ or C.
Pass any other order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the said facts and circumstances of the case." 4.
The matter was re-notified on account of the fact that the proceedings were listed before the learned Family Court on 29.05.2026. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that now the matter has been adjourned to 29.07.2026.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of requesting the learned Family Court to dispose of the subject application pending before it as expeditiously as possible without giving any undue adjournments to either of the parties.

Copy of this order be sent to the learned Principal Judge, Family Courts, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi, for necessary information and compliance.
