This petition is filed by the petitioner seeking time bound investigation in FIR No. 11/2025 dated 06.01.2025, registered at police station Punjabi Bagh for the offences under Sections 323/506/509/467/468/471 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. 2.

The FIR was registered pursuant to an application filed by the petitioner/ complainant under Section 156 (3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, alleging that certain persons are trying to trespass in the property allegedly in possession of the petitioner. It is the case of the petitioner that pursuant to the registration of the FIR, the police has not taken any action and that the accused persons are verbally abusing and harassing him, thereby causing grave inconvenience and distress.

The petitioner has filed certain photographs which allegedly shows some car to be parked in the property allegedly owned and in possession of the petitioner. The learned ASC for the State submits that the investigation has been carried out in a fair manner. He submits that the police had also collected the documents in regard to the subject property. He submits that the property belongs to Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board ('DUSIB') and the petitioner at this stage appears to not be the rightful claimant of the said property. He submits that the petitioner in the garb of the subject FIR and the present proceedings is trying to take the possession of the property which he may not be otherwise entitled to. He, however, assures that all steps would be taken so that peace is maintained and phone number of the concerned Beat Officer will be provided to the petitioner, who can be called in case of any threat of life and liberty to the petitioner. He is hopeful that the investigation would be concluded in 4-8 months, subject to all parties co-operating. 5.

Considering the aforesaid, this Court does not find it apposite to pass any further order at this stage. Needless to state that the petitioner is at liberty to file appropriate proceedings in case any grievance remains in future.
