The hearing has been conducted through Video Conferencing. 2.

This writ petition is filed for quashing of the FIR No.562/2019 registered at police station Dwarka South, Delhi on 25.12.2019 under Section 420/406/120B/34 IPC.

It is stated that the matter has been amicably settled per MoU dated 24.08.2020 and that in lieu thereof the petitioner has paid an amount of Rs.8.00 lacs to the complainant i.e. Rs.2,50,000/- in cash on 02.01.2020 in the presence of IO of the present case and Rs.5,50,000/- vide RTGS dated 13.07.2020. The IO Vidyanand and the complainant are present and they confirm this fact.

The learned ASC along with the IO submits since the matter has been settled there would be no useful purpose of continuing with this petition. 5.

In the circumstances, the FIR No.562/2019 and the proceedings emanating therefrom stands quashed.
