Learned counsel for petitioners reiterates the limited request which had been made on the last date of hearing. She submits that since record is voluminous, she may be permitted to re-inspect the relevant Diary Register/DD Entries, which are lying in the Court in a sealed cover, for one hour for three consecutive dates and to confront those with the relevant witness, in accordance with law.

Learned Addl. P.P. for State submits that he has no objection in this regard.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed with direction that petitioners would be permitted to inspect the relevant DD Entries, concerning the ongoing trial, for one hour for three consecutive working days and thereafter to make use of those for confronting the relevant witnesses, in accordance with law.

Needless to say, it will be entirely upto learned Trial Court to consider any such request with respect to confrontation and to decide the same, in accordance with law.
