At the outset, learned counsel for the respondents draws attention to an order dated 20.05.2026 passed by the Supreme Court in SLP(C) No. 3680/2025, wherein it has been directed that the present proceedings shall not proceed further during pending consideration of the matter by the Supreme Court.

In the circumstances, the present petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to take steps for revival of the present petition, if so warranted upon disposal of the matter by the Supreme Court. 3.
