In the instant matter, Applicant had applied for bail when the case was still at the stage of prosecution evidence. However, during the pendency of this petition, the trial has progressed and prosecution evidence stands concluded. The statement of the Applicant has also been recorded under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. The Applicant did not lead any evidence and the matter was taken up for final hearing. In fact, the prosecution has completed its arguments and so has the Applicant. 2.

In light of the above developments, since the case is now at the verge of conclusion and the Trial Court is expected to render a decision shortly, the Court finds no reason to release the Applicant on regular bail. 3.
