O R D E R

% 23.02.2018 Vide the present petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondent to decide his application bearing No.F.31(12)/17/89/L&B/Alt dated 24.04.1989, which actually had been moved by the grand-father of the petitioner.

Though, learned counsel for the respondent had earlier sought time for filing counter-affidavit, today, on instructions she submits that the said application is still pending and she is unable to give a timeline in which the said application will be decided. She further submits that similar applications have been decided on the basis of seniority position of the application.

At this stage, the learned counsel for the respondent also submits that the learned counsel for the petitioner has not supplied certain relevant

documents and, therefore, as and when the petitioner's application is taken up for consideration, the absence of the requisite documents would be a hindrance to decide the same and, therefore, submits that it would be in the interest of petitioner that he would submit all the documents well in time. She has handed over a copy of the list of requisite documents required for deciding petitioner's application to the learned counsel for the petitioner, who submits that the petitioner will submit the said documents to the respondent within four weeks.

Subject to the petitioner submitting the documents, list whereof has been provided to the learned counsel for the petitioner by the learned counsel for respondent, respondent is directed to decide the pending application of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible by keeping in view its seniority position.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid directions. REKHA PALLI, J FEBRUARY 23, 2018 rk
