% 02.09.2020 The hearing was conducted through video conferencing.

1. The petitioner contends that in land adjacent to her residence, i.e. in plot of land bearing nos. E-4 and E-5, Muradi Road, Near Community Hall, Batla House, Okhla, Delhi - 25, unauthorised construction has been initiated. Her complaints and representation to the South Delhi Municipal Corporation („SDMC‟) have gone unheeded, compelling her to file the present writ petition.

2. Photographs of the alleged activity have been annexed to the petition; they are reproduced as under:

3. Mr. Dhanesh Relan, the learned Standing Counsel for the Corporation, states that the photographs themselves show that some digging has been initiated, perhaps for a basement. Nevertheless, the Corporation has initiated appropriate action and work has been stopped at the site. He states that appropriate action shall be taken as per law.

4. In view of the above, no further orders are required. The writ petition, alongwith pending applications, is disposed-off in terms of the above.

5. The petitioner, shall be kept informed about any further action taken by the Corporation.
