The only prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage before this Court is that the Trial Court may be directed to expedite the proceedings and decide the pending applications expeditiously.

It is the right of every citizen and the litigant to get his/her matter decided as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, the Trial Court is directed to decide and dispose of the applications, which are pending before it expeditiously, without any adjournment.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition.

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, it is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petition.
