The appellant by virtue of the present appeal seeks reduction of Award dated 23.12.2023 passed by the learned MACT Awarding compensation of Rs.24,36,026/- along with interest @ 9% per annum from the date of filing of claim petition.

On Appeal, the Insurance Company deposited the entire Awarded amount before the learned MACT and a sum of Rs.18,00,000/- alongwith the accrued interest was released the Respondent-claimant. 3.
We have interacted with the learned counsel/parties concerned. Apropos such interaction and deliberation, out of the entire deposited amount along with The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. accrued interest, lump sump amount of Rs.1,00,000/- was agreed to be refunded to the Insurance Company and balance amount lying deposited after adjusting Rs.1,00,000/- shall be released to the respondent claimant. 4.
In view of the settlement, it is directed that lump sump amount of Rs.1,00,000/- be refunded to the Insurance Company and balance amount lying deposited before the learned MACT after adjusting the amount already released as well as after adjusting the amount of Rs.1,00,000/- to be refunded to the Insurance Company, be released to the Respondent claimant, subject to compliance of all the requisite formalities.

Statutory amount with interest if any, be refunded to the Insurance Company.

In terms of the aforesaid, the present appeal along with pending application (s) stand disposed of.
