This petition has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the sole Arbitrator, who is in seisin of disputes between the parties, arising out of a work order dated 10.08.2010.

The Arbitrator was appointed by an order of this Court dated 20.01.2022 in ARB.P. 1180/2021.

Learned counsel appears on advance notice on behalf of the respondent. The matter was passed over to enable him to take instructions. He appears at second call, and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.

I am informed that the proceedings are at the stage of final arguments.
