The limited relief sought by the petitioner in the present petition is that the directions be issued for time-bound disposal of the Industrial Dispute (being I.D. No. 138 of 2021) pending before the Central Government Industrial Tribunal Cum Labour Court, Rouse Avenue District Court Complex, CGIT-I, New Delhi.

It is submitted that the said Industrial Dispute has been pending for over five years without any substantial progress towards the final disposal. It is submitted that the reference was initially registered in the year 2021 and the issues were framed as far back as on 21.11.2022. 3.

It is submitted that the matter has been at the stage of claimant's evidence for approximately three and a half years. 4.

In the circumstances and considering the limited relief sought, the present petition is disposed of with a request to the Presiding Officer of the concerned Tribunal to bestow urgent consideration to the aforesaid matter By:CHINU LUTHRA 16:35:18 W.P.(C) 7285/2026 Page 1 of 2

(i.e., I.D. No. 138 of 2021) and make an endeavour to dispose of the same expeditiously, and preferably within a period of six months from today. 5.

Let an endeavour be made to schedule the dates of hearing at close intervals so as to adhere to the above timelines. 6.

Needless to say, it shall be ensured that unnecessary adjournments are not taken by the parties.
