The matter is taken up today as 28.05.2026 was declared a holiday on account of 'Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid)'.

After some hearing, learned counsel for National Counsel for Teacher Education (NCTE), on instructions from Mr. Mukesh Kumar, Regional Director, Southern Regional Committee, NCTE who appears virtually submits that a revised restoration order shall be passed qua each of the petitioner inter-alia specifically permitting the petitioners / institutes to participate in the counselling from the Academic Session 2026-27. The same shall be communicated to the university as well. 2.

It is assured and undertaken that the needful shall be done latest within a period of seven days from today.
