This public interest petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "a.

Issue a writ of mandamus or orders or direction in the nature of mandamus ordering and direction the respondent to perform their legal and statutory obligations and to reintroduce the Odd Even Scheme through awareness campaigns and with differential tariff for parking lots, toll barriers etc. so as to reduce the air pollution and traffic congestion."

Sh.Rahul Mehra, the learned senior standing counsel for Government of NCT of Delhi who appeared on advance notice on instructions submitted that the suggestions that have been made in the present petition would be taken into consideration by the Government of NCT of Delhi while deciding the future course of action for reducing the air pollution and traffic congestion.
