The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking that the respondent be directed to install a new electricity connection at premises bearing MCD Stall No.1, premises No.3617, G.F. Wall of U.P. roadways Bus Stand, Gate No.2, New Delhi.

Learned counsel for the respondent, who appears on advance notice submits that a new electricity connection shall be granted to the petitioner, subject to the petitioner furnishing an affidavit -cum-undertaking that it shall comply with all safety measures on an ongoing basis with regard to premises in question.

-cum-undertaking shall be furnished within one week from today. It is directed accordingly. Pursuant thereto, the electricity connection shall be installed by the respondent.

In case the respondent finds at any stage that there is inadequacy in the safety measures, it shall be at liberty to disconnect the electricity connection of the petitioner after following due process of law. 5.
