The present petition seeks a direction that the respondent be directed to install a fresh electricity connection in the premises of the petitioner. 2.
Learned counsel for the respondent submits that several complaint cases are pending with regard to the electricity theft in the premises in question. It is submitted that the amount due from the petitioner in the said cases is to the tune of Rs.1,53,173/-.

After some hearing, respective counsel for the parties are in agreement that subject to the petitioner paying the aforesaid amount in 12 monthly instalments, the respondent shall forthwith grant an electricity connection to the petitioner.

Let the petitioner file an affidavit before this court, undertaking to pay the aforesaid amount in 12 monthly instalments. Upon the said affidavit being filed, electricity connection shall be granted to the petitioner. The petitioner shall complete the usual codal formalities for installation of new electricity connection.

The amount of monthly instalments shall be added in the monthly bill that shall be raised on the petitioner, and shall be duly paid within time. 6.
Learned counsel for the respondent submits that upon realization of the requisite amount, the pending complaint cases shall be withdrawn by the respondent.
