The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. seeks the following prayers:- "In view of the above mentioned facts and circumstance and in the interest of justice, it is most humbly prayed that this Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to:- i) Quash F.I.R. No 0181/2017 under section 406 of IPC, registered with P.S. Model Town and/or any other consequatial proceeding arising out of the same. ii) Pass any such order and further order as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances and in interest of justice. AND FOR THIS ACT OF KINDNESS THE PETITIONERS AS IN DUTY BOUND SHALL EVER PRAY."

Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State, on advance notice, submits that closure report in the present FIR has since been accepted by the Court of competent jurisdiction on 27.08.2021.
