The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent-MCD to take action against the unauthorized construction being carried out by respondent no.4 in the residential property situated at F-Block, Sanjay Colony, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi ('subject property'). Photographs have been filed showing that construction is being carried out. 4.
Proxy counsel, on instruction from the respondent-MCD, submits that the unauthorized construction has been booked on 22nd May, 2026 and a show-cause notice has been issued to the concerned SHO, Police Station, Maidan Garhi.

Sub-Inspector, Kamal Sharma is present in Court from Police Station Maidan Garhi and accepts notice on behalf of respondent no.3/SHO. 6.
In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent-MCD to take action in accordance with law. 6.1 A direction is also issued to the Police authorities to strictly enforce the work-stop notice and ensure that no unauthorized construction is carried out in the subject property.

Liberty is given to the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings in law in the event any further grievance survives. 8.
All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the private respondent are kept open.
