This petition is filed with the following prayers: "a. Allow the present Petition, thereby, quashing the FIR No. 0582/2020, dated 18/08/2020, under Section 406 IPC, registered at Police Station Model Town, Delhi.

The main grievance of the petitioner is a complaint was lodged against the petitioner herein by the respondent no.2 in December, 2019 which was investigated and was closed but without any intimation to the W.P.(CRL) 1386/2020 SHARMA
petitioner herein; yet another complaint dated 09.06.2020 filed by the respondent no.2 was taken up and based upon it the present FIR No.582/2020 under Section 406 IPC was registered at police station Model Town, Delhi.

However the learned ASC for the State submits the FIR has been lodged on the initial complaint of December, 2019 filed by respondent no.2 and that the date of 09.06.2020 on the FIR is the date when the approval from the DCP concerned is received by the SHO for registration of the FIR. 7.
At this stage the learned counsel for the applicant intends to withdraw the petition.

In the circumstances, the petition stand dismissed as withdrawn. Pending application(s) also stands disposed of. YOGESH KHANNA, J.
