CM(M) 808/2019 This petition is filed with a prayer to issue directions to Shri Rakesh Kumar - I, learned Presiding Officer, Labour Court-10, Dwarka Courts, Delhi to decide the issues involved expeditiously in view of the directions given by the Supreme Court vide its orders dated 13.10.2017 and 28.01.2019.

In the order dated 13.10.2017 the Supreme Court had granted six months time to dispose of the application under Section 17(2) of the Industrial Disputes Act. Since the matter was taking time, yet again per order dated 28.01.2019 directions were passed to dispose of the matter without granting unnecessary adjournments, keeping in mind the time frame passed by the Supreme Court. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted despite two

orders of the Supreme Court, the learned Trial Court is granting unnecessary adjournments.

In the circumstances, the learned Trial Court is directed to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible in view of the orders of the Supreme Court dated 13.10.2017 and 28.01.2019 without granting unnecessary adjournments and by giving shorter dates, more preferably within two months from today. Copy of this order be communicated to the learned Trial Court for compliance.

The petition stands disposed in above terms. No orders as to costs. Order dasti.
