$~34 * IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI + W.P.(C) 1100/2018 & C.M.No.4597/2018(for stay) SHWETA TEWARI ..... Petitioner Through Mr.Chetan Shandelya, Advocate.

versus GURU GOBIND SINGH INDRAPRASTHA UNIVERSITY & ORS ..... Respondent Through Ms.Anita Sahani, Advocate.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE REKHA PALLI

O R D E R

% 06.02.2018 In the present petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondents to modify the order dated 17.08.2017 passed by respondent no.1, which accords the registration of her Ph.D w.e.f. 24.05.2017. She prays that the same should be antedated to 25.08.2016. However, after some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner concedes that there is no provision in any ordinance providing for such a course of action.

The petitioner, who is appearing in-person, submits that she is being harrassed and was not supported by the Dean and faculty of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University during the process of registration of Ph.D. and therefore apprehends that further delay may be caused in processing her research paper and thesis etc. Ms.Sahani, learned counsel for the respondents, who appears

on advance notice, submits that there is no harassment by any of the faculty or the Dean of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. She, however, submits that in case the petitioner has any perception of being harassed and not supported by the faculty, the Dean will personally look into the aspect. In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the respondents, the petitioner does not wish to press the present writ petition.

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with no order as to cost, alongwith the application.
