Learned counsel for the respondent, despite repeated opportunities, has not filed written synopsis in compliance with the earlier orders and further seeks grant of two days for filing the same. 2.

At this stage, learned counsel for the appellant seeks to withdraw the present appeal, since the same, according to him, has become infructuous in view of the fact that the patent involved in the present proceedings is due to expire on 12.08.2031 and the appellant does not have commercial interest left in the same.
