The petitioner is a statutory corporation invoking the extra ordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking certain reliefs against the respondents. Learned counsel for respondent No.1 and 2 are present on advance notice.

Having heard learned counsels for the rival parties present, the long and short of the matter is that the property in question belonging to the company (in liquidation), that was ordered to be wound up vide order dated 07.05.1969, had been purchased by the petitioner company for value consideration and the sale was confirmed for on 10.09.1971.

The grievance of the petitioner company is that despite several requests and meetings with the concerned officials, the sale deed still remains to be executed and registered in their favour. 7.

Although there is some delay on behalf of the petitioner company in approaching this Court, however, learned standing counsel for the OL submits on instructions that they have no objection if the prayer clause (c) is allowed and appropriate directions are issued.

No other relief is claimed by the petitioner company for the present.

In the light of the said concession, it is directed that respondent No.2 /OL shall confirm the sale regarding property measuring 10,000 sq.yds along with factory building and sheds standing thereupon situated at Katori Mill, Mohan Nagar, GT Road, Ghaziabad,State of Uttar Pradesh forthwith in favour of the petitioner company. 10.
