The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- 2.

A status report dated 29th May, 2026 has been handed over on behalf of the respondent/MCD in court and the same is taken on record. 3.

arrangements for collection, cleaning and disposal of garbage/municipal solid waste in the said area on a daily basis. Photographs have been filed along with the status report to show that the entire garbage has been removed.

Mr. Oberoi, counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/MCD submits that municipal staff in the said area has been sensitized to carry out garbage disposal on a regular basis.

Taking on record the aforesaid assurance, the present writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the respondent/MCD shall ensure that the garbage is lifted on a regular basis and cleanliness is maintained in the locality.

In the event the petitioner has any further grievance, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Court.
