This petition is preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of mandate of learned Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 06 months from 01.03.2025.

Disputes having arisen between the parties with respect to a parking site at Sadar Bazar, Petitioner approached this Court for appointment of an Arbitrator ARB. P. 09/2023 which was allowed and vide order dated 08.02.2023, Sole Arbitrator was appointed, who entered upon reference on 01.03.2023. period, parties gave their consent for extension and mandate was extended by six months upto 28.02.2025. Petitioner seeks extension of the mandate by six months for completion of the proceedings and passing of the arbitral award by the Sole Arbitrator.

Mr. Virender Pratap Singh Charak, learned counsel accepts notice and submits, on instructions, that Respondent has no objection to the extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator by six months. 7.

With consent of the parties, mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator is extended by a period of 06 months from 28.04.2025 and period between 01.03.2025 to 27.04.2025 is regularized.

Petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
