Appellant Insurance Company has filed an Appeal for reduction of compensation. The matter has been mutually settled between the parties wherein the principal amount of awarded compensation of Rs. 22,57,813/- (Rupees Twenty Two Lac Fifty Seven Thousand Eight hundred and Thirteen Only) has been reduced to Rs. 19,00,000/- (Rupees Nineteen lacs Only) as principal amount in favour of the claimants.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the principal amount of Rs. 19,00,000/- along with the accrued interest shall be released to the Claimants by the Registrar General of this Court in terms of the award subject to compliance of all the requisite

formalities. The Insurance Company shall be refunded the balance principal amount of Rs. 3,57,813/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Fifty Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Thirteen Only) along with the accrued interest. The Registrar General shall also release the statutory amount of Rs. 25,000/- along with interest, if any, to the Insurance Company. Consequently, the appeal stands disposed of accordingly. 3.
